This weekend concluded DOTA Summit 10, probably the last Dota 2 LAN-event before The International 2019. In the grand finals of the event Alliance defeated paiN Gaming 3-0, securing $42,000 in prize money.
DOTA Summit 10 was held on July 25-28th in Los Angeles, USA. First, six teams competed in a single-elimination group with best-of-two series. Then top two teams advanced to the upper bracket, while the others made it to the lower bracket. All regular playoffs series were best-of-three, while the grand finals was best-of-five.
Alliance started the tournament by placing first in the group with the 9-1 map score. In the upper bracket finals they lost to paiN Gaming 1-2, dropping to the lower bracket where they defeated Team Serenity 2-0. The final series concluded in Alliance’s favour with the 3-0 score.
