Beta Testing for Artifact 2.0 Has Begun

Valve have sent the first invites to the beta testing of the 2.0 version of Artifact. The invited players should be able to see the option to play on the game’s Steam page. Currently the developers do not have any timelines for additional waves of invites and will provide additional information later.

The company started accepting beta applications last week, giving a priority to those who bought the game prior to March 30, 2020. The participants of the testing were selected randomly. The developers warn that currently the games has a lot of temporary art and is luckily to have multiple bugs. Eventually they plan to make beta testing open for everyone.

Earlier Valve released a video showcasing the updated gameplay of Artifact. One of the main changes is that now the game is played on three lanes simultaneously. Besides that, the new version will feature a gamemode for new players with automatically created decks.
