Chet Leaves 100 Thieves, Switches to Valorant
The North American organization 100 Thieves has announced that Chet "Chet" Singh, formerly known as ImAPet, has left their CS:GO roster to continue his career in Valorant.
Chet became the coach of 100 Thieves this May and helped the team to place 2nd at ESL Pro League Season 12: NA, 3rd at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 NA and 4th at cs_summit 6 NA. During his 4-years-carrier he also worked with CLG, OpTic Gaming, NRG Esports and Evil Geniuses.
Earlier Chet told the press that before joining 100 Thieves he had received an offer to become a manager of a Valorant team. He was ready to accept the offer, however the same day he was asked to join 100 Thieves as a CS:GO coach, and decided to stick with the second option.
It remains unknown who will replace Chet in 100 Thieves. Next week the team will start participating in IEM XV – New York NA, where they will compete with another 11 teams for a $60,000 prize pool.
