Epic Games Postpone Fortnite Next Season, Again
Epic Games, the developers of Fornite, has postponed the launch of the next season for the third time. As of now, the launch of Chapter 2, Season 3 is scheduled for June 17th, while the start of the live event The Device was moved to June 15th.
The company explained their decision by desire to give the developers time to “focus on themselves, their families, and their communities” amidst social unrest in the United States of America caused by police brutality towards people of colour.
Initially the season was supposed to launch on April 30th, then the date was moved to June 4th, and last week the season was delayed to June 11th.
The current season was also launched with a delay – its release was moved from February 6th to February 20th due to the game’s transition to the new physics engine.
