HEROIC bench gr1ks

HEROIC has announced a roster change, moving Belarusian player gr1ks to the bench less than a month after his debut.

Replacing him temporarily will be Kazakh AWPer Alkaren from Spirit Academy. The deal includes an option for a permanent transfer in the future.

The decision comes after the team’s performances at FISSURE Playground 1 and IEM Cologne. At the first event, HEROIC exited early after losses to BIG and BB Team, while at the second they managed to advance to the next stage by defeating MIBR and Virtus.pro, but then suffered two straight defeats again.

In an official statement, HEROIC’s management acknowledged that not all of the roster and coaching changes made over the summer have produced the desired results. They stated the team takes full responsibility for the current situation and has decided to act early in the season to adjust course.

Alkaren, a winner of LanDaLan 2025 and LanDaLan 2, will miss BLAST Bounty due to roster lock rules. For that tournament, HEROIC will field academy AWPer Scr0b. The new player will make his main roster debut at the Esports World Cup.
