Spirit Updates CS Roster: Magixx and Zont1x Return

Spirit announced changes to its main CS roster. Chopper and Zweih have left the team’s starting lineup. For Chopper, this marks the end of a long tenure with the roster, while Zweih had only joined the team this summer.

At the same time, Spirit confirmed the return of Magixx and Zont1x. A key decision was appointing Magixx as the new in-game leader. The organization stated that it expects him to adapt quickly to his new responsibilities and expressed confidence in his leadership qualities.

During the current season, Spirit delivered strong results, winning BLAST Bounty Spring, PGL Astana, IEM Cologne, and BLAST Bounty Fall. At the Budapest Major, the team finished in 3rd–4th place, while at the Esports World Cup they placed 9th–16th.

The first event for the updated lineup will be the closed qualifiers for the LAN stage of BLAST Bounty Winter. The qualifiers will take place online from January 13 to 18, with the team’s first opponent yet to be determined. Spirit’s current roster consists of Tn1r, Donk, Zont1x, Sh1ro, and Magixx, with Hally remaining as head coach.
