Heroic Place First at HomeSweetHome: Week 5
This weekend concluded #HomeSweetHome, a $40,000 online CS:GO event. In the grand finals Heroic defeated SMASH Esports with the 2-0 score, claiming $30,000 in prize money.
Heroic advanced to the playoffs from the first place in Group D, where they outplayed Winstrike (19-15) and Nordavind (2-0). Later they managed to beat Hard Legion (2-1) in the quarterfinals and Team Spirit (2-0) in the semifinals.
This is the first victory for the updated Heroic roster – earlier the team signed Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen and hired Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen for the coaching position. Recently they also placed 3rd-4th at Elisa Invitational.
