MDL Changsha Major: Virtus.pro, Secret, Vici and Newbee Invited

Mars Media revealed the list of teams that received direct invites to their major tournament as well as some details on the regional qualifiers.

The list of invited teams includes Virtus.pro, Team Secret, Vici Gaming and Newbee. All these teams are in top-5 of Dota Pro Circuit rating, the only teams that’s missing is Team Liquid, who also won’t participate in the European regional qualifiers. The other teams will make it through the regional qualifiers: 1 team from each North America, South America, Europe, CIS and Southeast Asia, as well as 3 teams from DPL Top Season 5, which will serve as Chinese qualifier.

MDL Changsha Major will be held on May 14-20th at Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Changsha, China. The prize pool is set at $1,000,000. Twelve teams will also compete for 1,500 Dota Pro Circuit points.
