MDL Macau: Results of Regional Qualifiers
With the conclusion of the North American qualifier we get to know the complete list of qualified teams for the upcoming Dota 2 minor tournament called MDL Macau.
Regional qualifiers were held in five regions: North America, South America, Europe, CIS and Southeast Asia. The qualifiers featured a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches. The Chinese spot was determined by the results of the fourth season of Dota2 Professional League online tournament. The list of qualified teams looks as follows:
- North America – VGJ.Storm
- South America – Infamous
- Europe – OG
- CIS – Natus Vincere
- Southeast Asia – TNC Pro Team
- China (DPL S4) – LGD.Forever Young
Another two teams will be directly invited by the organizers – supposedly, they will invite two Chinese teams.
MDL Macau is hosted by Mars Media. The main event of the tournament will be held on December 8-10 in Macau, also known as “Los Angeles of Asia”. Eight participating teams will compete for a share of a $300,000 prize pool and 300 Qualifying Points towards The International 2018.
