Olofmeister Takes a Break, Leaving FaZe Clan Missing One Player

Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsso has announced through the FaZe Clan Twitter account that he is going to take a break from competitive CS:GO scene due to fatigue and loss of motivation. As of yet, the organization has not revealed his replacement.

Olofmeister has been part of FaZe Clan since late 2017. In 2018, he took a leave due to personal reasons and spent four months on the bench. The team started this year by placing first at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season, however later finished 7-8th at IEM XIV – World Championship and 5th at ESL Pro League Season 11: Europe.

FaZe Clan are about to start their run at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 – Europe, where they were seeded into Group C alongside Fnatic, GODSENT and Team Spirit. Their first series, where they will face GODSENT, is scheduled for May 25th, 4:30 PM UK Time.
