Remaining BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Events Go Online

The Danish tournament operator RFRSH Entertainment has announced that the remaining events of BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 – Showdown and Finals – will be held online. Besides that, the tournaments will be split into two separate regions – Europe and North America.

BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Showdown will be held on May 31st – June 7th in both Europe and North America. Each region will feature ten teams competing for $162,500. Besides that, best four European teams and top two American teams will qualify for the finals. Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Vitality and Astralis are among confirmed participants of the European division, while Evil Geniuses, MIBR and 100 Thieves will compete in the North American region.

BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2020, which was initially set to be played at VTB Arena in Moscow, now is scheduled for June 15th-21st. The European region will feature eight teams – FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, and OG, as well as four winners of the Showdown phase – competing for a $500,000 prize pool. The North American division will have four teams – Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming and two qualified teams – battling it out for their share of a $250,000 prize pool.
