Trec defeated Kalaxz in the grand finals of Tour Stop Season 3 2018 – HCT Germany with a score of 3-1. The French player received $5,000 in prize money and 15 HCT points.
The event was held in the German city of Krefeld on August 11-12. The line-up consisted of 16 players, who competed for a prize pool of $15,000. First, they were split into four GSL groups, and then top two players from each group advanced to a single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-five series. Both finalists placed second in their groups. Later in the playoffs Trec defeated Casie (3-0) and kolmari (3-2), while Kalaxz outplayed Yogg (3-2) and ThijsNL (3-2). The final series concluded with the 3-1 score in favor of Trec.
