ESL Pro League Season 12 Line-Up Completed

The Polish squad of AGO has become the final participant of the 12th season of ESL Pro League – they emerged victorious in the European region of ESEA Season 33: Premier Division Finals.

ESEA 33 Premier Division Europe Finals featured three teams competing in a double-elimination bracket. In the first round AGO lost to Sprout with the 0-2 score, dropping to the lower bracket. There they defeated Galaxy Racer (2-0). As the team from the upper bracket, Sprout had a one-map advantage for the grand finals – however, the series concluded with the 3-1 score in AGO’s favour: they emerged victorious at Mirage (16:7), Train (19:16) and Dust II (16:10).

The tournament’s prize pool was set at $27,500, of which $12,500 went to the winner. The teams placed 2nd and 3rd received $10,000 and $5,000 respectively, as well as advanced to ESEA Season 35 Premier Division.

ESL Pro League Season 12 is scheduled for September 2nd – October 11th and will feature 24 teams competing for a $750,000 prize pool. The plan is to have all teams in the same studio, however if traveling will be impossible due to the epidemiologic situation the event will be split into five regions: Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania, South America.
