Four Teams Advance to EWC 2025 Dota 2 Playoffs Through Elimination Stage

One of the most prestigious tournaments of the year — Esports World Cup 2025 for Dota 2 — continues in Saudi Arabia. Following the Elimination Phase, four teams have secured their spots in the playoffs, where they will face four of the top teams from the group stage.

The standout performers of the Elimination Stage were Gaimin Gladiators, Tundra Esports, Team Falcons, and PARIVISION. All four teams confidently swept their opponents 2:0: Gaimin Gladiators knocked out Team Yandex, Tundra Esports defeated Talon, PARIVISION overcame Xtreme Gaming, and Team Falcons eliminated Natus Vincere. These victories earned them a place in the playoff quarterfinals.

In the main bracket, they will be joined by Team Spirit, Aurora Gaming, BetBoom Team, and Team Liquid — the top teams from the group stage. This sets up the following quarterfinal matchups: Team Spirit vs. Gaimin Gladiators, Aurora Gaming vs. PARIVISION, BetBoom Team vs. Tundra Esports, and Team Liquid vs. Team Falcons.

Esports World Cup 2025 is being held in Riyadh with a $3,000,000 prize pool from July 8 to July 19.
