Officially: PGC 2026 will be held in Istanbul

PUBG Esports has officially confirmed that the main tournament of the year, the PUBG Global Championship 2026, will be held in Istanbul from December 1 to 13. Turkey was chosen due to its convenient geographic location, developed infrastructure, and a high level of activity among local fans.

The championship will feature 32 of the world's strongest teams. The slots are distributed as follows: eight slots will be awarded to the PGS season leaders, four slots each will go to the America, China, and EMEA regions, three each ー to Korea and Vietnam, two ー to the Asia-Pacific region, and Turkey will get 1 Wildcard slot as the tournament host.
