The Malaysian team Geek Fam has defeated the Filipino roster of Cignal Ultra in the grand finals of the Southeast Asia Qualifier for WePlay! Bukovel Minor, qualifying for the main event of the minor tournament.
Geek Fam managed to win the qualifier without losing a single map – they outplayed 2-0 BOOM Esports and Cignal Ultra in the upper bracket and finished the final series with the 3-0 score. Geek Fam will play at the minor, while the other teams received 20 DPC points.
WePlay! Bukovel Minor is scheduled for January 9-12th. The winner of the event will qualify for DreamLeague Leipzig Major and receive $72,000 and 140 DPC points.
