OG, Team Secret and Evil Geniuses Among Teams Invited to Hainan Master Invitational

The organizers of Hainan Master Invitational 2020 Spring have revealed the list of teams that will participate in their upcoming Dota 2 LAN-event.

Among these teams are four Chinese teams, including PSG.LGD, Vici Gaming, EHOME, and Invictus Gaming, as well as five teams from the rest of the world, including Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Fnatic, Virtus.pro and OG. However, Virtus.pro and Team Secret announced that they were not contacted by the tournament’s organizers and thus cannot confirm their participation in the event.

The final three participants of the event will be determined through the regional qualifiers in Europe, CIS, and China. The European and CIS qualifierы are scheduled for January 15-20th. Vikin.gg, Chicken Fighters, GODSENT, OG Seed, Infinity and Team Moriaty will compete in the European qualifier, while Team Empire Hope and Hellraisers are the only two confirmed participants of the CIS qualifier. The dates and participants of the Chinese qualifier were not revealed.

Hainan Master Invitational 2020 Spring will be held in the Chinese city of Haikou on March 3-8th and feature 12 teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool. The event is not part of Dota Pro Circuit.
