Overwatch Update: New Map and Cosmetics

Overwatch received a new update, which added a new map to the game as well as a set of new cosmetics, including skins, emotes, highlight introes and many more.

New map: Blizzard World

Blizzard World is a new hybrid Assault/Escort map, which is themed after all of Blizzard’s games, including Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, WarCraft and Diablo. It was announced at BlizzCon and added to the PTR on November 20, 2017. The map won’t be available for Competitive Play until the start of Season 9.

New Cosmetics

The new update brings more than 100 new cosmetics to the game, including new epic and legendary skins. You can find the complete list of new cosmetics on the official website.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug that caused weapon accuracy on the career profile to be displayed as 100%
• Fixed a bug that caused Junkrat’s Concussive Mine and Steel Trap to disappear if he placed them before using RIP-Tire
