The North American team Spacestation Gaming has emerged victorious at Six Invitational 2020, claiming $1,000,000 in prize money. In the grand finals of the event, they defeated the Brazilian roster of Ninjas in Pyjamas with the 3-2 score. The runner-ups received $450,000.
Spacestation Gaming started the event by placing first in Group B, where they outplayed Na`Vi (2-1) and TSM (2-1). Later the team made it all the way through the upper bracket, where they defeated MIBR (2-0), DarkZero (2-0) and Team SoloMid (2-1). Having a one-map advantage, SSG lost the first two maps of the grand finals, which were Villa (3-7) and Border (2-7), however won the following two – Clubhouse (7-5) and Bank (7-3).
Six Invitational 2020 was held on February 7-16th in Montreal, Canada. Sixteen teams competed for a $3,000,000 prize pool.
