Team Liquid Come out on Top of ESL Pro League 11 NA

Team Liquid have emerged victorious in the North American division of ESL Pro League Season 11. In the tournament’s grand finals they defeated Evil Geniuses with the 3-0 score, claiming $90,000 in prize money and 550 ESL Pro Tour points.

Thanks to making it through the upper bracket, Team Liquid had a one-map advantage in the grand finals, where they outplayed their opponents at Dust II (16:11) and Vertigo (16:9). Earlier in the tournament Team Liquid defeated Evil Geniuses twice – first in the group stage (2-1) and then in the upper bracket final (2-0).

ESL Pro League Season 11 – North America took place on March 26th – April 12th and featured six teams competing for a $219,000 prize pool. First, they played in a single group with round-robin format, and then top four teams advanced to a double-elimination playoffs bracket. Earlier the competition also concluded in Europe, where Fnatic defeated mousesports to claim $110,000 in prize money.
