Virtus.pro Changing Their CS:GO Roster: TaZ Benched, MICHU to Stand-In

Virtus.pro announced the first change in their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster – Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas is benched and will be temporary replaced by Michał "MICHU" Müller.

After a series of disappointing results, the management of Virtus.pro decided to make the first change in their Virtus.pro roster since 2014 – the current in-game leader Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas has been benched and is allowed to negotiate with other organizations about his potential transfer. His place will be temporary taken by Michał "MICHU" Müller. MICHU is a 21-years-old player from Poland, who is currently signed by Team Kinguin. Both organizations agreed to loan the player for the upcoming tournaments StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 4 and IEM Katowice 2018.

General Manager of Virtus.pro Roman Dvorankin commented on the decision:

“We have promised our fans back in Atlanta that VP will only become stronger in the future. This is a first step. It’s a small, but important one. I would like to welcome MICHU to our family, he’ll be playing with us for the next month including SLTV and IEM events in Kiev and Katowice. In March we will make further announcements on the lineup. I would also like to thank Wiktor for his commitment throughout the years of his time in Virtus.pro. He’s the main reason Golden 5 joined VP, kept playing for VP and kept playing together”.

TaZ has been a part of the Virtus.pro CS:GO roster since January 2014. Together they emerged victorious at multiply premier tournaments, including ESL Major Series One: Katowice 2014, ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational, ELEAGUE Season 1 and many more.
